Games For Your Kid

My niece and nephew really love to play video games. They can play for hours. So I am always thinking about getting them a new game when they come to visit. I know they have a ps3 so I do not think they can have too many ps3 games. It is a something I know their parents to not mind if we get them because it keeps them entertained for hours.

Weekend Dinner, Beef Caldereta

This is what we had for dinner the other night. I was in the mood cooking because I was stuck in the house for 2 days due to the big snow we had experienced this weekend. The husband love my beef caldereta also I was craving for it I decided to give it a try. If you want to know how I made it, these are the ingredients I used: 1/2 spoon olive oil, 4cloves garlic, minced, 1 medium onions diced, 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, 2 cans dry peas, 1/2 kilo (500g) beef, cubed, 1 caldereta powder mix, 2 potatoes, cubed, 2 carrot, sliced, 1tsp ground black pepper, 1 pack of maggi magic sarap all in one.

Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the garlic until golden brown. Stir-fry the onions until translucent. Add the beef, stir-fry for a few minutes.

Add more water. Simmer over low heat until the beef is tender.

Add the potatoes, carrots and powder mix . Cook until the sauce thickens.

Add the rest of vegetables and maggi sarap, cook for another 2 minutes and ready to serve.

I was happy to find out that just a few months after I moved here the Asian store opened just about a mile from my new home. In the years since I have become good friend with the store owner. I like to stop by the store and talk with her about all kinds of stuff. Once in a while we talk about the store and she is thinking about updating her cash register system. Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Ok, the Snow starts two hours ago and its getting thicker and thicker. I'm happy I got out from work early today because I'm scared to trap in the snow in the parking lot. It's kind of hard though when your car is full of snow already and you don't have any wiper gesshhh. Now, were both at home relaxing sneaking outside once in a while to check how was the snow goes. We are expecting to get 20-30 inches of snow today and tomorrow. I think my scariest moment is here when I step outside and the snow is taller than me-:(

Cigar for a Friend

I have friend who loves to smoke a great cigar. He really loves to smoke Rocky Patel Vintage Cigars. I was so happy that I could order them online. I never thought about trying to find if they were for sale online. It will really make a great birthday gift. I had been searching and searching for the right gift and I am excited to have solved the problem. Now I can rest easy.

Nitey Nitey Everyone

I've been here in front of my computer since I got home from work. I think my brain is drain right now because I don't know what to write here. Well, I just have to write the flow of my thoughts hahaa. Anyway, it's been few weeks now I had hard time in work. We were so busy and I felt so pressure dealing with problems in work. Sometimes, I'm thinking I need a break and just take a good vacation. However, with the weather right now I don't think if I can take a vacation somewhere. I just have to wait when the summer come and enjoy the nice weather. Maybe making a trip somewhere or go to the beach will be nice. I do miss the sun a lot! Opsssssssss.. Crab Legs And Bistek For Dinner

I've been craving for Bistek today so I decided to make some for our dinner. The husband and I was talking about being good this weekend, no dining out just stay home, relax, and run in the tread mill. He ran after he woke up this morning unfortunately, I did stay up late. When I woke up, I jump in my comp and started to search some recipes online. I came up with the Bistek and the husband was so happy with our dinner. I still have some crab legs on my fridge so I grab and pair with the Bistek that makes a very good meal. We ate this with a bowl of rice and so yum yum..-:)

It is really not that expensive to stay there and the flight is not so long either. Off Day

Well, it's my day off that means I am happy girl lol. It is nice to just feel relax at home and shop around a little bit. However, its almost end of the day I feel bored and I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow hahaha. When I went to a friend house I've notice she had a home theater. She said it was working pretty good and she loved to watch her Filipino movies using the good quality voice of her home theater.
