Thank God, I am Safe

I can't believe what happened to me this week. When I drove to work early in the morning I hit the deer. I didn't saw him jumped in front of my car and the last thing I saw he was on the street lying because the car behind me hit him too. I am lucky that I got through that situation uninjured. I called the husband sounded so nervous, he told me not to worry about it he's going to fix my car what is more important I am safe. So, I keep on driving wondering how much damage my car would be. When I arrived to my work place I checked on my car quickly, thankfully was not totaled. Just my license plate was tearing apart. I really thought my car wrecked pretty bad. Thank God, HE watched over me... have a good night everyone, till my next post....

Elegant Sink For Your House

I just found an awesome sink for our bathroom. Have you ever looked at stone sinks? I think they look so elegant and would be the highlight of our bathroom if we installed one. It would take our plain boring bathroom and make it extraordinary. Now I will be dreaming all night about redecorating our bathroom. I will not be happy with just the plain looking bathroom we have now. I just love to dream for sure.

Say Yes To A Dream

"The Lord said, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" – Isaiah 6:8

"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" How often has Dr. Robert H. Schuller challenged us with those words? Yet how many even dare to give voice to such dreams? It is not your lack of skills, or education, or knowledge that holds you back from reaching your full potential. It's your lack of faith, your inability to believe in yourself and in God. Imagine standing before God at the end of your life and being shown all that you could have done had you just had more faith! God's work needs people just like you who are courageous enough to dream big. The bigger your dream, the more you can do for others. Think of all the people you can help just by saying yes to God's dream for your life. Say "Yes" to God today.

Tired Of Your Old Computer?

It seems like every few years I like to switch from a desktop computer to a laptop computer. I get tired of each after awhile. I have been looking at the new netbooks. I think that a netbook might be what I need right now. It is small and portable so I can carry any where I go. The cool thing is you can get the internet almost anywhere on them now. So you can just be sitting in the park and searching the internet at the same time. I think my next computer will be a netbook for sure!

Nitey Nitey

It's been few days since I logged in to my blogs. Honestly, I really miss my blog hopping routine. Seemed I don't have anymore time to blog hop since I had my full time job. I have been so busy for the past few months especially with crazy over time days at work. I don't even have time to spend with my Babe Dako-:( I wish I could make up with him eventually lol..... have a good night everyone. Till my next post.

Need An Exam Tables?

I have a really bad cold that has gotten me feeling terrible. So I went to the doctor to see if he can do anything to make the cold go away faster and at least get rid of my cough. While I was in the exam room waiting for the doctor I looked the table I was sitting on. I started to wonder where the Doctors find exam tables? I wonder if you could find them online or do you have to be a doctor to own one. I guess it would be sort of weird to have a doctor's exam table sitting in the middle of your house. I think will get a new couch for the house before we get an exam table.

Bread Of Our Life

Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes. — Deuteronomy 8:11 Alexandr Solzhenitsyn said that he learned to pray in a Siberian concentration camp because he had no other hope. Before his arrest, when things were going well, he seldom gave God a thought. Similarly, the Israelites learned the habit of depending on God in the Sinai wilderness where they had no choice; they needed His daily intervention just to eat and drink. But when they finally stood on the banks of the Jordan River, they awaited a more difficult test of faith. After they entered the land of plenty, would they soon forget God? The Israelites knew little about the seductions of other cultures, having spent their lives in the desert. Moses was more afraid of the coming prosperity than the rigors of the desert — the alluring sensuality, the exotic religions, the glittering wealth. The Israelites might put God behind them and credit themselves for their success (Deut. 8:11, 17). Ironically, success makes it harder to depend on the Lord. The Israelites did prove less faithful after they moved into the Promised Land. Again and again they turned their hearts to other gods. Beware of the temptation that success brings. There is grave danger in getting what we want. — Philip Yancey I blindly ask for what I crave With haughty heart and will so stout; He oft denies me what I seek, But gives me grace to do without. — Anon. Want To Achieve The New Look Of Your Home?

The husband really wants to remodel the kitchen. He is thinking about putting down porcelain tile. It would really take our kitchen to the next level. He is even thinking about putting in the bathroom. We have decided to do little remodeling projects one at a time and improve things slowly over time. We put in some lights last weekend and it really changed the way the whole kitchen looks. We noticed that some parts were dirty because of all the new lights.

Roots Or Shoots?

Because they had no root they withered away. — Matthew 13:6 In the life of trees, one key to survival is having more roots than shoots. In his book Oak: The Framework of Civilization, author William Bryant Logan says, “If a tree puts on a lot of top growth and few roots, it is liable to be weak-wooded and short-lived . . . If a tree puts down a great deal of roots and adds shoots more slowly, however, it is liable to be long-lived and more-resistant to stress and strain.” People and organizations can be like trees. The rise to prominence is exhilarating, but anything that puts up shoots faster than it puts down roots is fragile and in danger of breaking, falling, or dying. Jesus used a similar analogy in His parable of the sower. People who hear the Word and receive it joyfully are like seed sown on stony places; they spring up quickly but endure only a short time because they have no roots (Matt. 13:6, 20-21). Roots aren’t at all glamorous, but they are the source of our strength. If our roots go deep in the knowledge of God (Jer. 9:24) and our lives are hidden in Christ (Col 3:3), we’ll be strong, resistant to blight, and more likely to survive the storms of adversity. How deep are your roots? — Julie Ackerman Link Lord, keep me from being envious of the beautiful and the seemingly powerful. May I use Your resources to put down roots that will make me strong rather than branches that will make me attractive. Amen. Act Now Before Its Too Late

I am sure you have seen on the news all about the current debate about health insurance. Well, surprisingly the government has done nothing yet. If you need insurance now then you need to look at this insurance plan. You need to check out short term health insurance NC. If you are expecting the government to take care of your insurance I think you are mistaken. Even if all the plans pass the congress today it will be months before it takes effect and you might just be in trouble if you get really sick. You need insurance today even if it is short term.
