Weekend Dinner, Beef Caldereta

This is what we had for dinner the other night. I was in the mood cooking because I was stuck in the house for 2 days due to the big snow we had experienced this weekend. The husband love my beef caldereta also I was craving for it I decided to give it a try. If you want to know how I made it, these are the ingredients I used: 1/2 spoon olive oil, 4cloves garlic, minced, 1 medium onions diced, 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, 2 cans dry peas, 1/2 kilo (500g) beef, cubed, 1 caldereta powder mix, 2 potatoes, cubed, 2 carrot, sliced, 1tsp ground black pepper, 1 pack of maggi magic sarap all in one.

Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the garlic until golden brown. Stir-fry the onions until translucent. Add the beef, stir-fry for a few minutes.

Add more water. Simmer over low heat until the beef is tender.

Add the potatoes, carrots and powder mix . Cook until the sauce thickens.

Add the rest of vegetables and maggi sarap, cook for another 2 minutes and ready to serve.
